    Description:

Modified Polyester Acrylate 5335B: The "Performance Hexagon Warrior" of UV Printing Coatings

In the field of UV printing and coating, modified polyester acrylate 5335B—with its comprehensive properties of rapid curing, excellent flexibility, high gloss retention, superior adhesion, and outstanding pigment dispersion and flow characteristics—has emerged as the innovative engine behind UV color inks, varnishes, and offset inks. It enables the industry to break through dual bottlenecks in both efficiency and quality.

Rapid Curing: Empowering High-Efficiency Production in Seconds

Under UV activation, complete crosslinking is achieved within 3 seconds (energy density ≥100 mJ/cm²), making it compatible with high-speed offset printing lines running at 120 meters per minute. This represents a 50% efficiency improvement over conventional resins, especially suitable for large-scale applications such as food packaging and label printing, thereby significantly reducing unit energy consumption and production costs.

Flexibility and Adhesion: Conquering Diverse Substrates

The cured film exhibits a fracture elongation greater than 150% (ASTM D638), enabling it to withstand tens of thousands of bending cycles on PET films or the stamping of metal cans. Simultaneously, it achieves a 5B adhesion rating (ASTM D3359) on substrates such as BOPP and aluminum—effectively resolving industry challenges like ink delamination at crease areas in soft packaging and edge lifting on metal cans.

    Mirror-Like Gloss: Dazzling Color Impact

Its nano-level leveling properties impart a 60° gloss value of at least 95 GU (ISO 2813), and the exceptional pigment dispersion (with a median particle size D50 ≤0.5 μm) enhances the color saturation of UV inks by 30%. This ensures the visual impact required for luxury packaging with foil stamping and high-gloss book covers.

Silky Flow: Unbounded Precision in Printing

A low viscosity (≤300 cps at 25°C) combined with high shear-thinning characteristics guarantees that the ink spreads uniformly during high-speed offset printing, achieving a dot reproduction rate of over 98%. Optimized pigment wetting further enables smooth gradient diffusion and micron-scale fine-line printing, thereby redefining precision standards in industrial aesthetics.

From vibrant UV varnishes for eco-friendly paper boxes to abrasion-resistant offset inks for metal cans, modified polyester acrylate 5335B—with its six key performance attributes of speed, flexibility, brilliance, adhesion, uniformity, and smoothness—redefines the limits of UV printing coatings, making every production step a win-win for both quality and efficiency.
